But a direct link would be helpful though... :-k

Bro Blacknightz, we have a "search" feature, please make use of it .... :-'

For now, here is a link : viewtopic.php?f=11&t=8819&hilit=R6600

Yes im aware of the search function and that is why i ended up here in the first place...
Nothing specific on a step by step guide on R6600 GPS...

Even the old post... viewtopic.php?f=28&t=662
is based on old GPS system...
And just encourages people to use SD card to install the software...

So.. im just wondering if there is a direct method or new better method other than installing to SD card for this R6600 GPS...

Anyway... Thanks for the link bro...

I bought R6600 a week ago. The GPS connection, as compared with my other device Z880, is few times slower; for some strange reason. To get a fix on GPS could take more than 10 minutes. I guess it's due to the fact that there are too many features running in the background: TMC, Bluetooh, Voice Command, Video Playback and Music.... Slooooooooow......

Not surez about that... but mine works just fine and smooth.... Even changing between maps is a breeze...

Still figuring out how to update it though..........

how to.... Updating of Maps...
