im already install
Garmin Mobile XT for Symbian S60 3rd Edition, Ver. 5.00.50, as of Apr 15, 2009
Garmin Mobile XT Free Basemap, Ver. 4.xx.xx, as of Apr 19, 2007
Garmin Mobile XT Support Files, Ver. 4.xx.xx, as of Jul 11, 2007

then what next step pls

i need key number to unlock this gps

The latest Garmin map can be found at the Free Public Download sub-forum... and you don't need any unlock codes for it. :mrgreen:

Download from this link : viewtopic.php?p=123970#p123970

Run the executable file to generate the map file gmapsupp.img and copy to SD card/garmion

using smartphone.......how accurate is it?

im using nokia e72 with garmin xt.....

i wanna track and plot my land so next time i will know the land barrier ( sempadan tanah ). how accurate it will be if im using my phone or is there a special device i should buy just for plotting land.

A better tool will be a Handheld GPS like the Garmin 62 Handheld GPS

There are free symbian apps that turn your mobile into a data logger. Make several circles around the property, convert the GPX files into Googlemaps KML file and edit the perimeters. Googlemaps co-ordinates are sometimes off a bit but it is just use as aids and for reference.

how accurate ?

it depends on your requirement.

if you just want a simple map for your own reference then your smartphone garmin xt will be good enuff.

if im standing on the barrier (sempadan), do i get the same coordinate if i walk around a little bit let say 10 meter....?

next question,

if i wanna save my route to the land so that next time i just use the gps.....what should i do.....?
