Thank u so much for help.
Your fuel economy is how many Km can your car travel for 1 litre of consumption. You may use manufacturer's publish rate but that is under perfect travel highway travel conditions. For city driving, expect a degradation depending on auto or manual car, driving habits, weight of car ( empty / loaded ) etc...

Re: Garmin Nuvi3790 SG/MY
I'm now in Thailand and after receiving my 3790 from brudder SG who was earlier handed over from brudder Jeff... WoW!!!
Yup, pretty cool & a lean machine I must add... even my wife kept asking me: whats that new screen again? Me ansa: same one lah... my newest Nuvi from Singapore, soon it'll be the next Samsung Galaxy S2 delivered a day after returning to Holland.
Fantabulous unit to handle and work with so far except for the screen display... I for one just CAN'T bear the imprints on the glassy surface!!!
The other thing is the reflect on the front screen during night use... A glare shade is a MUST have over the unit.
I have since placed my order today with ZAGG for a screen protector which will take care of the messy stains.
Meantime, will have to live with this horrible sight and regular cleansing with my special specs cleaner.
Thailand is one exotic but also a weird place with their configuration of addresses... completely INCONSISTENT with their regional grids and method for indexing their descriptions however, can put up with this small misdemeanor.
Unlike my previous Nuvi 650, I can double tap my current location but am having trouble to also save it as a "favorite" anyone knows how with this model? I tried the other option from "where am I" but that too failed to have my location saved even though I can see the coordinates.... so, if you know how, all tips welcome, thanks.
Here's a quick snap behind the wheel stuck along this darn street called Asok Montri.... MADness it sure was with this stretch of traffic luckily, the airco is powerful and we almost nearly froze in the cockpit!!!
On Spore streets with portrait mode, right unit is Tomtom 950 Live
With a Garmin slim-shade, good enough but not as effective as I am used to with my other shade on a TomTom
With a Garmin Traffic cable attached but non operational in Thailand, in Singapore it works.
Bangkok midday bubble & rush. How to skim over these bikers???

Re: Garmin Nuvi3790 SG/MY
I have the Nuvi 3790 SG/MY with the optional cable for TMC. I can see the "Traffic" icon on the left of the GPS unit changing from green to yellow when traffic gets heavy. However, there seem to be no traffic message updates appearing to warn on any incidents on the road ahead. Anyone knows if this is normal?

When color changes to yellow or red, it warns of traffic. You have to touch the traffic icon to see details on which road has traffic.

thanks for the reply. Got the hang of it now.

I also have problems with the maps. Can load MFM maps, but no voice navigation, the icon on the top left which asks you to turn left or right in "X" metres is also gone. When I disable the MFM maps, it works. Any help is appreciated.

No problem using MFM110718 loaded in SD/map directory today in my trip up north.
Make sure both preloaded maps are not enabled.
