I have problem using my Papago X5 to search for roads. It does not show any result when i try to search for road name. I even try to just type in very general name and it does not show any result.

Only my POI is working. Anyone can help me? What is going wrong and how to fix it?

Btw, how to download additional map for Singapore?

Thanks in advance.

Can you outline the steps you take for a road search; also give us an example of the name of the road you are searching. Will then be able to help you.

I manage to charge during navigate.here what I did:
1. Buy in car charger with output more than 1000mha (mine is meant for galaxy tab)
2. Under clock via tegrak or setcpu-1.0mhz to maintain battery level or 800mhz to increase battery level

Hi JChoong,
I tried again after i downloaded GPSFix and the Road Search is working now.

I'm not sure if previously it was due to my GPS that is causing the Road Search not to work....

It works now...yayyyy :peace:

Btw, i have 1 stupid question  Do we need to update our Map regularly to avoid outdated map?
If yes, where can i get to update those Map?

Thanks ya :prayer:

I am not aware of any additional Singapore map. The current mfm map contains Malaysia + Singapore + Brunei maps.

Hi Zamad,
I check in my SD card on my Map folder that there is only a folder named Malaysia. So i assume it is only Malaysia map.

Not sure if it contains Singapore Map or not.
How to know? Can you please advice?

Thanks.

No question is a stupid question. Stupid answer, well, maybe.

Do we need to update our Map regularly? Yes, but the frequency differs to different persons. For those who regularly submit their contribution (either 'new' or 'feedback' POI/Tracks), they would be the ones who download every release. They want to see if their contribution is in the latest map or not. For the rest of us, maybe once every 2-3 months or so, or before a trip to the 'unknown'.

Where can u get to update those Map? They are found under Free Public Downloads (here: viewforum.php?f=23). Look for 'FREE MFM-PAPAGO MAP - yyddmm (latest = 110802).
