Hi, i recently bought a GPS preloaded with X5SE from M3.
Its specs are

• CPU : Centrality (SiRF) Atlas-V,dual kernal. CPU 525MHz
• Operating System : Microsoft Win CE. NET 6.0 Core Version

Am i qualified to get an update for my software to X8?

Maction issued an announcement for MFM to extend the issue of maps updates for the old version until 31/10/2011 after all the ho ha.

From their upgrade notice those with android and windows mobile versions, no upgrade to X8 but they will release upgrade to M8. What after that. Will map updates available for M8 after 31/10/2011.

pardon me. Does the Papago M8 include the iphone version?

Nothing mention about upgrade for iPhone woh!

PAPAGO! M8 will be released to support compatible Android and Windows Mobile devices. PAPAGO! M8 maps for Android and Windows Mobile are compatible with PAPAGO! X8.5 version".

One of my friends is already using the X5 android maps with his pirated M8 android (Taiwan) even before the X8 upgrade. Unless the M8 to be released here is different from the Taiwan M8, the X5SE can still use the X8 maps .

Just went to PAPAGO service center @ Plaza Low Yat and they said they can't update the X8.5 due no software .
Can you believe this?

and how about extra charge...maybe service charge to update

I call 1 800 88 3303 complaint about this issue and one of m3gps consultant said there is a charge to update except at Philieo Damanasra.

Is it true?
