off-topic but bro, can't agree with you more. sometimes felt the "temptation" to update but in the end, still remain faithful to my 255W! :)

About 1 week I use 2465. So far I’m not facing any problem.
Some poi icon visible in navigation mode when auto zoom to 80m.

No problem with my Nuvi1460. MFM maps can run perfectly on it. Some POI's are only visible when at 50m zoom level. I don't care about POI's if they are visible or not....it only clutters the display with unnecessary information. Of course junction view is not available.....but nice to have....still we can live without it.

HTC HD2 with Garmin Mobile XT , Perfect to use with MalFreeMaps

-Large Screen 4.3"
- 1Ghz processor
- No weird american-speaking malay road names
- No JCV and whatever lane assist cause MFM dont even support them
-Perfect POI icons..

I think all new garmins show POI at zoom levels 80m or below. I'm using Nuvi 3790, when using Garmin's City Navigator maps, the POI only show at zoom levels <= 80m.

When using MFM maps some POI do show up at zoom levels <=80m.

hi all,

since my previous post in this thread (just one month ago) noticed this:

problem using mfm on 2465 (my sis'). able to load the latest mfm map (111024) but noticed that when i select MFM POI to be used with MSM Map, the MFM Map 111024 "get selected" by itself even though i didn't select it. ended up with two maps "selected" and resulted in erroneous navigation. didn't have this problem with previous versions of mfm map..

is it the map or the unit?

have no such problem with my ol' faithful 255W. no prob with 1460 but then the mfm map used in 1460 is version 110905, haven't updated since then....
