It has been 5 days since the promised date, but when I call, they said it's still not available.

I just bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 days ago & I was hoping I can buy the Papago M8 Android (Malaysia Version) as soon as possible to use it as Papago X5 is really outdated and MFM no longer produce maps for them.

If you're going to ask the map compiler to stop producing maps for old softwares, at least make sure all new software for every devices is ready to be purchased / upgraded so we don't have to wait any further.
Hmm...

PS: I hope with these delays, M3GPS would reconsider putting back coordinate search in Papago M8 Android (Malaysia Version)

Too bad Garmin don't make software for Android. Stop map update but no new software.... :fire:

Unless you buy Asus Garmin phone, you get Garmin GPS. Because of that M3GPS is taking android users for granted. If there is a Garmin GPS for all android phones, you think M3GPS will drag their feet like this. 95% android users will use or would have switched to Garmin.

The BIG QUESTION is when. You now ask us to be with you and wait for the release. Were you with us, android users, when you issue your letter before August 31, 2011 to stop map updates for x3 to x5. Do you think it's fair to ask android users to be with you while you just bulldoze x8.5 through without considering how it will affect those whom you do not have updates for. Where is your ethics. :x :x :fire:

Until now, my Holux is still have the buggy Papago x8.5 without TTS. It is close to 2 months now. No news at all. M3 is just keep hiding & keep saying coming soon.

Either M3 don't give the Papago user a damn or it is absolutely have no clue on how to fix the problem.

First of all, im sorry, its an typo error. Last comment should be "Please bear with us". Most probably on December the M8 will be released. We take it serious, for every feedback that we have received, including the TTS for Holux model. For the good of every party, we have no intention to prolong this. We are working on it, just this time it takes slightly more time than what we have expected. The unintentional delay is unavoidable as we want to make sure better user experience while using the software once released.

Therefore, we apologize for the inconveniences of every party involved. :rox:

We can understand M3GPS want to release a bug free program and we users support that. But does M3GPS understand how your users feel when they bought Papago based very much on the availability of monthly updates only to find maps updates for the old version being stopped to facilitate the release of x8.5 for only some platforms.

We can still bear with you until you release the bug free M8, if you give us the map updates for our X5 until then. Isn't it fair. It's a win win situation.

i think its mutual that MFM also don't want to maintain 2 version of papago maps so no point to cry about this..We're in the same boat. Paid for X5 but now unsupported. I've found some bugs in the maps but no point to report also.

As with all this software releases, my experience in this industry tells me once they miss the first date, no need to ask again (they should have included sufficient buffer in the original ETA). No other date will be accurate. I just hope they understand customers are frustrated and WILL be trying alternatives and may not come back. TBH without MFM maps papago is no better than half a dozen navigation apps out there. The longer they delay this the more time other apps get to catch up with them.
