It's December now.
And again M3GPS failed to keep their promise.

To hell with Papago, I'm buying a Garmin Nuvi tomorrow.

You just lost 1 faithful customer. I've been using genuine Papago software for 3 years straight (Papago X5 Windows Mobile & Papago X5 Android).
Good job M3GPS.

PS: Even if Papago M8 Android does come out tomorrow, I'm still not going to buy it as I know it will not be supported on Android 3.0 & Android 4.0.

In September 2011, I received a reply from M3GPS Support saying that "The current version of M3GPS X8.5 is too heavy for the Altina A1130 hardware specification." Does any member have any experience or difficulty using X8.5 in their Altina A1130?
If Altina A1130 has no issue with X8.5, where is the nearest place (from Johor Bahru) to upgrade ?
:tq:

Hi, I guess we had similar case here.In my case,I sent my SD card to M3 HQ (ALMOST 2 WEEKS) and the technical guy there can drop some 'heavy' features in order to fit our Altina.I notice my new X8 'lost' some features stated in the manual. But did come with some extras..

Hope this can enlight your concern..
1st PND to own-Altina A8010 with M3GPS X3 Gold
UPDATED to M3GPS X3 SE....
soon will be M3GPS X5....

I'm not sure yet.
I'm looking for a Garmin Nuvi that has the fastest graphics while the car is moving.
Any suggestions?

But 1 thing for sure, I'm not going back to Papago no matter how fast the graphic is.

Fast graphics rendering depends on both hardware and software.

Hardware is influenced by the graphics chip, the cpu, the amount of ram memory and the firmware.

Software is your map - the more you include in your map for rendering, the slower it will be thus you should choose to leave out colour polygons and all irrelevant POIs when you create the image file.

Hi, I need some help here.

I purchased a Papago R6100 that comes with X8 software half a year ago. Now I want to update the map in the GPS. However, when I plug the GPS to my laptop via a USB cable and hit the "connect" button on the M3GPS Map Updater, it asks me to check my GPS connection, making sure it is on and in storage mode. What's wrong? I can't seem to find any storage mode setting on my GPS either. Please help!

Thanks!

On Navigasi.Net (Indonesia), they are still producing the X5 format of the map, in addition to the new X8.5 format, even for their latest version (v2.18) released just 3 days ago.

I totally agree =D>
