hi, i updated my garmin 2465 software version from 2.8 to 3.6.
after the update, when i go WHERE TO -> POI -> BANK/CASH it shows NO MATCHES FOUND.
it happened once when i downgrade from version 3.4 to 2.8.
hope someone can help me....

After upgrade /downgrade, check to make sure at least one map is enabled

same-thing happen to me when i upgrade to v3.6
now i downgrade to v2.8, searching will be no problem

For some reason they're not telling us, Garmin folks seem to be using two new POI types for Banks and ATMs respectively, and this can be seen in v3.6.

  • For City Navigator maps,

      Where to? > POI > Bank/Cash Point

    still works, and will give you 2 further choices: Bank or ATM.


  • For MfM (and MSM) maps, you have to go to

      Where to? > POI > Community > Bank/Cash Point

    to find banks and ATMs.

downgraded to version 2.8 and problem solved.


V2.8 gives me a lot more crashes/instability, so that is not a "solution" for me.

Hi, I'm having problem with CPOI alerts on my 2465 (I have installed the CPOIs and confirmed the CPOIs are in place by going to Where To and checking for the CPOIs).
For example when I approach a speed camera, I don't get any audio warning. Understand that the icons won't appear because of the new firmware limitation. Does the new firmware also restricts audio warning? It used to work when i was on nuvi 255 and using MFM maps and CPOIs [-o<

Just bought this gps. aeco unit. default firmware was 2.6. i tried updating the firmware to the latest version. the thing is, even after i unplugged the usb port, the device didnt automatically restart as it should have, and im still unable to update to 3.90 and im still stucked with 2.6!!. :frus: am i doing it wrongly or there's something wrong with my unit? Help!! :prayer:

edit: Nevermind..figured it out already..the software version is 3.90 now..the firmware is 2.60. maybe i got confused with those two, hence panick mode..hehe ](*,)
