Please comment.

General observation: ALL roads allow Left, Straight and Right turns. At the (assumed) traffic lights, these roads have three lanes. IMHO, nodes 'Jct-01' and 'Jct-04' are too close to the 'first' turning. 'Jct-03' looks about OK. 30m from the U-turn?

[Jct-01]:
Left lane is for a Left-turn or straight;
Middle lane is for straight only;
Right lane is for U-turn or Right-turn only.

[Jct-02]:
Left lane is for a Left-turn or straight;
Middle lane is for straight only;
Right lane is for a Right-turn only.

[Jct-03]: see [Jct-01]
[Jct-04]: see [Jct-02]

Ehhhm ehhmm. My taman has this Left U-turn.... but probably doesn't qualify to be coded coz it's just a small taman, not a busy multi-lane intersection. :-'

I was thinking if any Brothers or Sisters here can help us write an application to generate the Lane Assist code (Graphic to Codes Generator) for submission and a decoding application for the mappers to read and insert these information into our map. I'm exploring it using Visual Basic but with my limited knowledge on the subject this can take ages.... :oops: :oops: :oops: With a GCG we only have to select Junction Data by clicking on a Directional Icon to select it.... when done selecting users need to click on a Generate key to create the Code to be paste into Mapsource.

Any kind soul Programmers out there please contact me for details. I'll buy you all the Beers/Root Beers you can drink when it is done... Coffee too expensive... :mrgreen: ...

Thank you for your help... :tq:

Bro saujanacom,

Yes, a program to create the submission code. User just need to click on a Graphic Icon to select all the lane directions and click generate to create the code that can be copied into Mapsource.... Interested?
Thanks for asking.... :tq:
