They replied that I come see them for one last time  as they wanted to do a thorough check-up of the 'system'. ie from the car cigarette port to the PND... I hope I find a parking lot near their shop this Saturday. Until then, my unit is the 2565, like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.

Request for reserve parking lot coz you have given a valuable feedback.

Sorry to disappoint you guys... Don't wait up for me next Saturday at Aeco. I wont be there. I'm probably going tomorrow or Wednesday. Why? When I said that I then had a 2565, I was referring to the 2575 without the recorder (forget about the TV). I was wrong. I don't have anything now

I assumed that the 2575 cannot be charged via the cradle. In fact it cannot be charged at all! Not even via the PND's microUSB port. Now that the battery is dead, I cannot revive it anymore. So.... I cannot wait till Saturday. Just minutes before it died, I saw at the Diagnostic page: 0 mA. ](*,) R.I.P my 2575.
Nasib baik masih dalam warranty period. :peace:

The good people at AECO replaced my dead 2575R plus the car charger, 2 cradles and the GDR10. They couldn't point to exactly who did it (but main suspect was the car charger) and decided to change all related to 'charging' whilst in the car.

The system ran fine on the return lag, but I have to confess that although I had hooked up the GDR10, I didn't run the recorder. I wanted to enjoy what I have at the moment. The camera might see its first light this weekend.

Touch wood, this time it should last a much longer time. [-o<

Glad it's over for you... at least for now... Please start LA ....

I can confirm that when you turn On the camera and the Hour Glass starts spinning around for awhile turn off the nuvi and remove it from the cradle. Remove the charger to completely power down the system. Reinstall and you should have it working again... If you insist to wait for the Hour Glass to stop spinning... please let me know how long it takes... I have waited >10mins and it is still spinning... #-o
