M3gps gps are badly gps, im regret to buy this product,
i went to services centre by parking free very expensive at the services centre, they still cant solve my problem, until now never get back to me.

the stupid function 'Tollway Avoidance' is not function
i waste a lot of toll money by using this stupid gps.

the 'U-Turn Avoidance' also not function
if you thick it, your gps will hang when routing road.

my advice to all my friends is dont buy wayway or papago if M3gps fail to settle it.

i have been using mapking and hp, it wont have this problem.
is very funny, papago claim itself is a prof gps..

This problem happen after free update from X5 to X8.5 from M3 Asia last Wednesday. Using for 1st time after upgrade..

After set destination and press GO. Message appeared " Cannot rout to XXXX (no effective starting point)" Does anyone know what is the problem and how to solve it?
What I tried so far.
1) Power off and On again
2) Reset to factory setting
3) Change map

Nothing work so far. Already inform M3 Asia regarding this issue. Will sent my GPS maybe this weekend. Anyway just want to share this with all of u, in case you know the root cause to this problem.

FYI, now I deleted the program and reinstalled X5 (from my backup files), and it work fine so far.

Hi nd3457,

Do you still have the original X8.5 with you? May be I could assist to look into it before you come to our office.

Hi szechinhock,

Sorry for the frustration. I have forwarded this feedback to the development team. Hope they could work with Maction to solve these issues.

Btw, may I know which Model you are using? May I know also the version of the M3GPS?

For myself is FC problems as i'm using M9 on my Galaxy S2...

Any rewards if solution found by someone? :tease:

Hi stanxx,

May I know what is your Android Version?

I'm using Android 2.3.4
In fact I've email to M3 support and was informed that I'll be informed when new stable version M9 come out.

Only to share, I've spent too much money only trying to solve the FC problem, I bought Chainfire3D (thought that it may be 3D problem because it has less FC problem if using 2D), I bought SetCPU (thought that it may be cpu process no good in SGS2 or maybe M9 programming not perfect), i bought AutoKiller Memory (thought that it may due to no good memory management or maybe M9 programming not perfect).........BUT... still.... FC.. FC.. and FC..

I ever thought that maybe my SGS2 reception no good, so after I've done the patch, see below:

But... finally... also FC... ](*,)

Hey guys, anyone can share with me about your reception?

Is it only Samsung mobile got this problem??

The FC is samsung android OS problem, maybe factory reset will help.. Or maybe u need to use stable custom rom by rooting it...

About GPS reception, this is normal for all phone, there is a way to make it rapid lock GPS by patch the system, u need to root so u can patch the GPS system file...

This is the patch: http://derekgordon.com/gps-files/agps.p ... l.v3.1.zip

For SGSII ONLY!

1. Download the patch
2. Boot into CWR (Clockwork Recovery) / 4EXT Recovery
3. Mount /system/ partition (on the main menu, select the "Mounts and storage" option, then "mount /system")
4. Flash the patch (on the main menu, select "Install zip from sdcard," then "choose zip from sdcard," and find the zip and select it)
5. Reboot the device

In fact my SGS2 is rooted (Chainfire3D/SetCPU/AutoKiller Apps that i mentioned in my previous post, all of them need rooted phone).

Frankly I've installed many apps in my SGS2 and I can't recall there's FC or any other problem, so is it really Samsung Android problem? ..Nope, i don't think so. Perhaps both Samsung Android and Papago also don't have problem by themselves, only problem is, both of them are not compatible with each other. If really the case, then the Papago programmers in Taiwan should figure out on how to make them compatible, OR, PRODUCE A NEW PAPAGO M10 THAT'S ONLY FOR SAMSUNG. :D

Regarding the GPS patch, before this i had done the patch (that's why my SGS2 is able to connect to 8-12 satellites at a time, referring back to my satellite picture in my prevous post) according "Method 2" in the XDA forum here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1447598

hahahass.... you know why I do so many things? Unbelievable.... everything is because of the M9 FC problem... :ko: really fainted...

Hi M3gps Consultant,

Something to share (not sure is it new discovery? =P~ ), found out that when i touch any spot within the shaded area then try to drag up or down (in order to scroll up or scroll down), the screen can't move.

Hope you have improvement in new version.

I'm using SGS2 / Android 2.3.4 / Papago M9, guess all other brands will have same problem.

No, its not M9 problem... For my device, HTC Desire HD and One X, there is no FC, all the time very very smooth, never had any force close... so its samsung rom problem....
