Hi friend,
That is not possible. I'm at Sri Lanka. Is there anything i can do to make the device alive again??
thanks ,
Really appreciate your help. :)

Hi ink2m,

I need you to follow the below steps to check the device. But becareful with other files as if the PAPAGO! system detected any changes to the application then the whole unit will not work again.

Please do not copy the application to the computer and then copy back to the unit. It will not work and the application will hang.

1) Get a Micro SD Card
2) Create a blank file namely "PAPAGO.ini" (Create the file by using NOTEPAD)
3) Copy the file "PAPAGO.ini" into the Micro SD Card
4) Insert the Micro SD Card to the H5600

5) You will now be prompted Windows CE screen
6) Go to My Device
7) Go to HDD
8) Go to Navi
9) Go to Save
10) Delete all the files inside here (All favourites will be gone)

11) Remove the Micro SD Card
12) Press the RESET button at the back of the unit
13) Please update me the status.

Thank you.

Hi friends,

I have a new problem. i've tried to update the software and the maps. so, i install M3GPS web updater and tried to update the device. it says not enough space in the device. Micro SD card has 4GB free space. but the device memory is full (TFAT -1.62GB). so, how can i find some space on TFAT memory? or can i install it on SD card?

Thanks.
Really appreciate your help.

Thanks, i thought demo version is without POI and only the word "DEMO" appear on the screen.

As you mentioned if the FREE Trial version is exactly working like FULL version but only restricted to 30min, then i think it's good enough for evaluation purpose.

No they won't.
My advise: Don't buy M9, you'll regret it.

M3gps Consultant

Please take note of Papago Z1 x9 this my 4th times I faced the same problem.
1) halfway travelled the gps shows only maps without direction.
2) Rerouting take 0.5 to 1 km to get back to the maps displays.
3) screen locked/jammed
4) all the above happened again to me on Saturday 22.06.2012 during my ways to LCCT, where at Sri Kembangan my GPS jammed and have to reset the destination again, then it take me to Puchong Putra Saujana luckly I have another back up China brand GPS Navigation to guide me to LCCT. (To be honest with you now eyery time want to use the GPS I doubt whether to use the china brand with the old map or to use the Z1 which always take me to the wrong place)

DOES ANYONE HERE WHO PURCHASED PAPAGO Z1 HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AS MINE ?

Now I feel regret and very disappointed to have the latest gadget instead of being proud to have it.
