If you tick all three maps, it will default to the map with the highest access priority which is the Garmin City Navigator

Rule of thumb is still to run one map with same regions to avoid data clashing ...

In theory those stand alone maps should run by itself.

One more thing you can check, how many JCV files do you have in the Main Memory/system/JCV folder ? With three maps (MFM NT, MSM NT, City Nav) you should have 3 JCV files as each map has a unique JCV associated file.

I do have the 3 different sets of JCV files in the hidden folder.

Edit: Is anyone from NaviCom here who can clarify?

My 2575RLM Sg/My was giving problem when running MfM2012.10 in Ipoh yesterday. After the exiting the Jelapang toll gate it is slowed to update the screen and the voice navigation sounds like a 45 RPM LP running on 33 RPM setting.

It also failed to calculate route from "Yong Tau Foo Under Tree" to the "Heritage Hotel Ipoh". Changing over to the MFM 120507 map solve the problem.

I only use one map at a time. My MfM 2012.10 map and JCV are stored in the SD card. The MSM and Garmin NT maps are in the main unit memory.

Thanks for the clarification. Given this, it would be sensible to run MFM weeklies in Spore, and the City Nav when I am up in KL (can't manage without Jct view and lane assist).

Moey, I read about this before but can't remember how to do it. Do you transfer the complete JCV folder from the device .System to the ext SD card, or do you create a separate JCV folder in the SD card? In the SD card, presumably you put both map and JCV into the Map folder? Long time away from Nuvi, so now have to relearn again. Thanks in advance.

What I did with my 1350 is that, except for gmapbmap.img and gmaptz.img,
I transfer all maps and JCV from .\System folder in the device to my external mSD Card in the following folders:

SD:\Garmin\JCV Folder\xxxxx.jcv file

SD:\Map\xxxxx.img file and xxxxx.unl file

Hope this helps but remember to back up all files first.

Sobamy, thanks for the steps. Will give it a try.

SilverBeauty, sure, anytime, my friend. Did not know you into golf these days (or did I misread?)

Bro JChoong

My unit came without the MfM2012.10 map installed hence, I've to download and create the folders as per Bro sobamy's write-up in the SD card.

Have fun bro...
