Another encounter was driving Braddell Road (open sky) just pass Bishan, My GPSr lost satelite connection. It takes almost 24 hours to get it working again
The 3rd encoutered was also in Bishan MSCP. parked there for 2 hours. Came out with lost satelite @ 2 pm. GPSr was unable to local satilite until 11:20pm at Upper Thomson road. Have been tried different map. it was still the same.
As bro Moey mentioned, if you have sun screen film, you need to cut a slot for GPS signal to get to your Nuvi.
If that fails, as you are in Singapore, and if set still under warranty, send to Garmin Distributor Navicomm or Allbright to give it a health check. Check your warranty card for address.
