Junction view help

Hi there...i dont know where to ask.... already search but so far couldnt find it here..

i own nuvi 2465.. previously preloaded with MSM, City Navigator maps... I can see junction view with these... however their maps didnt update much in JB area so i install MFM 120702 and replaced the gmapsupp.img (original) with mfm (using MFM script - i dotn know what u call the self exe files... )..

looking at my maps, i still can see other maps plus MFM maps and POI ..so i unchecked all other maps except MFM and POIs..

afterthat i cannot see junction view... anything wrong with my setup??

junction view is no biggie but i seems wanted to know what going wrong....

Brother....

Our CGPSmapper complied map MFM 120702 does not support JCV. It is our flagship map with update every week. But,.. all is not lost... if you want MfM Map with JCV please visit Garmin Map Update to download the latest MfM-Garmin NT 2012.10 map with JCV. Just a note to let you know the the MfM NT2012.10 was taken off the site for reason Garmin did not review. We have member who wrote to Garmin and got to know a newer version is on the way. So, check back regularly at Garmin's WEB site for the new MfM JCV map.

The latest NT2012.20 has been released. However, i cant update my 2465 SG/MY device with this map. The taiwan garmin sites says "The connected device does not qualify for the update"! It didnt tell the reason tho. In myDashboard, it says my map is up-to-date.

Currently I'm using the 2011.10 version, I think the first map released by MfM.

Did I do anything wrong or simply I need to 'pay' or something for the update now??

hey bro..thanks for your reply...

so now i'm downloading the map from the SG site.... it required me to generate the unlock code .. i dont know if MFM maps need the code.. should i save the code into a file i.e map.unl

1. so once i downloaded the map, should i replace the 120702 (gmapsupp.img) with this one?
2. should i store the map into device or SD card..
3. anyway to remove the MSM map??

sorry for lots question... newbie with 2465.. after 3 years with garmin mobile XT and now there are so many maps and techie stuff...pls pardon my ignorance....

ok...i managed to update the map as per instruction from bro moeyhc...havent tried the jcv yet but as i viewd the map into mapsource...i saw jb area is not updated....the new ram coming down near hospital sultanah aminah is not there but the ram is inclyded in mfm120702...its similar to msm map ....

so now i will use mfm map only..i will try uploading the screen when connection is restored...syreamyx down at the moment....

macam mana nak selesai masalah JCV ni..payah la kalau tak de JCV ni....saya pun dah update NT 2012.10.Sebelum ni ok je...

Hi Bro...

Boleh bagi tahu GPS model dan ada kah set dari Aeco Technologies. Kalau bukan set Aeco JCV tidak akan di tayang... Dimana anda meletak File peta and JCV? Bagi Folder and nama File

Peta terkini adalah MfM 2012.20..

bro .. mine is 2465 ..non AECO... but previously JCV works on default map (msm ).. only didnt work with 120702 map.. i update the map thru ur instruction but the map is not update plak.... so revert back to 120702 ... no jcv for me
