bro .. mine is 2465 ..non AECO... but previously JCV works on default map (msm ).. only didnt work with 120702 map.. i update the map thru ur instruction but the map is not update plak.... so revert back to 120702 ... no jcv for me

For some reason the installation program is not copying the JCV file into some units.

1. Look for the malfree_201210_255.exe you downloaded to your PC.
2. Unzip (using 7z, WinRAR or Winzip) this EXE file by right-clicking on it and extracting it (preferably) to a folder named "malfree_201210_255"
3. Among the files you have extracted, there is a subfolder named "MapData". In this subfolder, you will find the JCV file SgMyMfre.JCV.
4. Copy this file into your Nuvi at ".System\JCV"

question (again..),
since i already remove the map from garmin sg/my site (as yestreday post)... coz the map is not updated in JB area..so now i using mfm 120709 map... can i still got jcv with this setup??

The 120709 map, being cgpsmapper-compiled, will not have JCV.

reason why the NT map still not updated in JB.... 120709 map is updated i just saw it....

Oh no, that JCV file I mentioned is only for the MfM 2010.20. JCV simply does not work for our weekly up-to-date map, unfortunately.

Oh no, that JCV file I mentioned is only for the MfM 2010.20. JCV simply does not work for our weekly up-to-date map, unfortunately.

The City Navigator map is .System\gmapprom.img
The MSM map is .System\gmapprom1.img
