Redownload installer and generate a fresh gmapsupp.img and and put in SD card/garmin as per generated name or put in in SD card/map as per your own naming.

If that fails, change SD card and redo the above mentioned.

i generated a new one and put them in sdcard/garmin directory. it show up!

hi all..

i just bought 2465 yesterday with preinstall MSM...yiaks..i didnt noticed it at all coz mfm n msm read almost the same at quick glances...so today i was travelling from home to JB town and it didnt recognised some POI....old roundabout which were removed by JKR also there...new ram at hospital HSA also dont updated....very keciwa so i checked the map and noticed its not MFM...hehehe...so i just install 120702 map.... love it..

ok back to my question...

previously i used garmin XT for almost 5 years on my nokia and also papago on my samsung...but recently my nokia died and samsung consumed battery so i got this 2465 after reading the specs and this is within my budget....



currently my map are store in build-in memory in maps -- gmapsupp.img... i read this thread i should save it on SD card with any kind of names...is this true?? what happen if i keep it on the device memory??

i just noticed i cannot view POI while driving.... i can see them in map mode...not in 3D mode... maps is 120709 ..when i install, i already uncheck nox for polygons etc....

how arr??

Map level zoom to 80M went navigate.

ok... this morning i tried zoom at 80m...still no POI visible..and then zoom out to 300m... still no POIs...

here is my setup..

map is MFM120709 (gmapsupp.img) stored in device (dont have micro SD yet)
all other map deleted....
all POIs checked..

when i created map, i uncheck the poligons thinghy box...
firmware version 3.90 (updated thru garmin sg website)
what could be wrong bro and sis??

only nuvi with 3 digit show all POI, 4 digit onward have limited poi show
