I just bought my M9 few months ago, my phone is using Samsung Nexus S. However, today my phone running an OTA update and now it is running Jelly Bean Android 4.1.1.

My M9 turn up cannot view the map anymore when in navigation mode. However, it do capable to access the menu, search, etc. Just that after they found the GPS, the whole map will turn to grey color.

Any suggestion on this?

Thanks.

Capiche?

vash_h wrote:as for those on android.. asking one to use customized ROM is ridiculous. software is supposed to run on ALL standard roms, regardless whether it is rooted or not.

you can promote that custom rom all you want. will u take responsibility if the process of installing custom ROM fails and the phone becomes a paper weight?

installation of custom roms is extremely risky, and not advisable unless you know what you are doing.

so stop asking people to use custom roms. its their phone and they can do what they want with it.

if a software doesnt work or is buggy.. it IS buggy.

I super duper agrees with this 2 gentlemen. asking people to flash rom is not a solution at all.

It just goes to show how M9 is a really unstable software.
m3support, where are you? Are you hiding in the cave since you don't have any solutions at all?

Turning off Mobile Data is not a solution. Some of us needs mobile data to be turned on 24/7.
What if we have to drive 6 hours, do we have to turn off the mobile data for 6 hours and lose our business?

m3support, M3Asia & Maction has abandoned us.
Maybe I should create a page to gain 1000 likes to convince MFM to abandon Papago.

Once MFM has abandoned Papago, Maction & M3Asia will lose money for sure.
This will surely teach them a lesson not to be greedy, not to abandon / ignore their customers.

Strange enough I have been using M9 with the mobile data turned on all this while and have not experienced the pointer going crazy on me. How come some of you have the problem with the point going all over the place. Mine is a Galaxy S3 and using maxis mobile data.

oh i see, sorry i just glance thru your post.

Panda bro, to switch to use custom rom is only so called the "last resort" since the papago developer is unable to come out with any solution.

For myself, i will only blame Samsung for lousy phones and at the same time i will also blame Papago developer for not giving warning to public that Papago software may not be compatible with Samsung devices.

Why blame Samsung when other navigation programs such as Igo, NDrive, Sygic, CoPilot that I have tried with a Samsung phone without problem. Don't you think it the Papago software that is inferior compared to those mentioned.
