Speed trap camera locations

Postby nikolo98 » Wed Aug 08, 2012 11:42 am

Hi all,

My apologies if this is the wrong forum for this topic. Mods, please feel free to move this thread wherever appropriate.

I was wondering now that there is the new speed cameras installed all around the country, can their locations be added into the maps and Garmin triggers an alarm every time we approach a known location of the camera? I remember seeing this function on TOMTOM navigators in the UK but I've never seen them on Garmin.

I'm not a speeder on the highway but I do travel up and down the PLUS highway regularly and sometimes you have people who hog the roads and need to get around them. I'm worried that when I try to overtake in this kind of scenario, and I happen to be in the camera zone, I'll get booked for going over the speed limit just for that moment in overtaking another vehicle........
