using both NT and MFM release map

Postby shiokguy » Tue Aug 14, 2012 2:12 pm

I am using 1250 local unit.
I want to have the benefit of both world of NT and also MFM weekly updated map.

Now I have a SD card installed.

I want to have my MFM main map at main memory \MAP directory...

How do I store the NT map in SD? I mean the directory structure? Where can I download the JCV files? I have installed the NT map into my GPS but I do not see any JCV file or directory. Hidden?

Regards
Yong

MFM weekly updated map DOES NOT have JCV.
You can put this map in SD card/garmin.

Thank you for the feedback.

Summary..

Main internal Memory I will be having: -

main\map\gmapsupp.img (gmapsupp Direct NT2012.20 from garmin). should I put this map here or main\Garmin?

I will move all weekly update MFM map to

SDCARD\MAP? or SDCARD\Garmin?
How about the POI? do I need to make a copy from Main\Garmin\POI to SDCARD\Garmin\POI?
