How do you record a new road in uncover area / taman

I am no longer newbie, yet I still have a newbie question would like to open for discussion.
POI contribution is easy, track logging is also easy with Nokia Sports tracker (This is what I using). My problem is, how do you guys record road name while track logging? You guys log the track then transfer to mapsource then tour again the area to get the road name?
Or is there anyway to track log and record road name in one shot? I was sad that I able to track log but unable to provide road name. Same when I see many taman roads is there in the map, but no road name, which is an unfortunate news. Outsider not able to search the road name in our map.
Any opinions and suggestions are welcome!!

Hi bro Vincent, I not familiar with Nokia Sports tracker and its features. Some trackers use tape recorder to note road names, some wrote it on a piece of paper. But for me I just mark it using waypoints (like POI contributions) and later adjust it to proper position by using mapsource.

I use 60CSx to track. For the road names, I mark way points on 60CSx, then record the road names with voice recorder/ mobile phone.

Before I have Nuvi, I use a paper write down the road name.
Now I use nuvi mark waypoint only & use NTS to track.

BTW for Nokia can mark landmark, menu > Tools > connectivity > Landmarks but I don't know how export to MapSource will do some research on this.

Thanks for the suggestions. Well, it seems a good idea to track log using Nokia Sports tracker and Garmin Mobile XT for waypoint / road name marking. In that case all Symbian users had no excuses cant provide road name anymore.
Will try this method on next time track logging! Thanks ya!
p/s: I even ride on a bike for tracking because it is more accessible and convenient, ya, the local thought that I was a crazy nuts

........we all crazy but MFM not crazy....... everything is real.

........We do crazy thing but that crazy thing created superb MFM map as what we have't rit now.

How do you add the buildings/houses that appears on the left/right of the road that is tracked? Is this manually drawn in MapSource after the track has been exported from Garmin Nuvi/MXT into PC?

I read somewhere that you just marked the first house number and last house number in a block. How do you mark this in MapSource?
