Error on Gunung Chamah Peak and the river trail from pos Rekom to Kem Tongkat Ali

I just back from Gunung Chamah Expedition (2170m) last Chinese New Year.

Those who interested to go, i give you some information about this mountain.

- From KL or any area, drop at new Gua Musang Bus Station (N 451.686 E 101 57.559)
- From here, u need to take public transport/4wd to Masjid Kuala Betis (N 454.184 E 101 47.550)
- From Masjid Kuala Betis, take 4wd to last 4wd drop point (if not raining) (N 508.582 E 101 35.502)
- From 4wd drop point, u need to trek to Pos Rekom (N 509.898 E 101 33.344) around 4 hours (dam hot. open 'trek balak')
- From Pos Rekom i suggest you overnight at Kem Pakma (N510.261 E 33.238)
- From Kem Pakma go to Kem Tongkat Ali (3 hours trekking) (N 511.472 E 101.33.420) , last water point. Bring minimum 3 litres of water for
cooking and trekking back
- From Kem Tongkat Ali to Peak, take at least 4-5 hours (if u fit enough) and overnight at the peak.

Again i remind to those who intersted to climb this mountain, better go for intensive training at least one month i.e jogging, work out, or do daytrip hiking otherwise ... GOD BLESS YOU.

For Transport/4wd arrangement or guide, please call this No : Lan 012-298 9873/Rashid 012-209 7756

Is this road only for 4wd?
It is a merit to forgive others:
