Jajaran Lebuhraya Pantai Timur Fasa 2 (LPT2) melibatkan laluan dari persimpangan Cheneh ke Kijal akan dibuka kepada laluan awam, mulai hari ini.
Menteri Kerja Raya, Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof dalam satu kenyataan berkata, pembukaan jajaran sejauh 29 kilometer itu bagi mengurangkan kesesakan, sekaligus memberi keselesaan kepada pengguna, terutamanya pada musim cuti persekolahan.
“Pembukaan jajaran ini memberi penjimatan dari segi masa dan kos pengguna. Sebahagian jajaran LPT2 dari persimpangan Kuala Terengganu hingga ke persimpangan Paka, dan dari persimpangan Jabor hingga ke persimpangan Cheneh sepanjang 130 kilometer telah dibuka sejak 22 Ogos 2011 sehingga 21 Julai 2014,” katanya.

Please put an alert or reminder for pdrm speed trap in the next map update
at this location 102.563194 , 5.677722 .
the speed limit here is 70 km/h. Most driver think 90 km/h because got 2 lanes here for both side of the road.
please put 500 metres alert from this location on both side of the road.
