Successfull patch my friend's Nuvi 200W Part Number 006-B0835-00..look like he really happy :champ: and after tracking, Log folder automatically generate in the gps..

This is how I understand the difference is from what I have read at the other forums.

Actually in 205, u can switch off snap-to-road by switching to off road mode for tracking purposes using >Tools>Settings>Navigation>Route Preference>Off Road. That way u can drive in a new area without the GPS trying to locked to nearest road.

As for the time interval, wonder if driving slowly will force the logging to 1 sec interval or not, say at not more than 20km/h. Haven't tried that though.

I don't think so because after studying the Nuvi 205 trip log, I think the trigger for track points is neither time nor distance but a change of heading. My guess is that a track point is triggered when the change of heading is more than 6-7 degrees.
