Garmin Mobile XT Software Problems

Yeah, this software is not that stable yet. I also encounter 1 problem while playing with the software. I was sitting outside with clear sky above, after 3-4 min having very good satellite reception, suddenly GMXT complain about loss of satellite signal. I go & check GPS signal screen & found out that >10 satellite having good reception.

:( first time ever xt shutdown with warning system was low on resources. it was in the middle of a route & my daughter was playing around with changing car icon when it happened.

Got the same error just now. Have download all car icon (99mb all). Toying around with different cars, walla xt shutdown with same warning.

One minus point: They appear to have removed the "North pointer" from the viewing map. The only place still with the pointer is the Turn Preview.

Still buggy for real use. Have to wait for a stable release. Reverting to previous version...

Maybe doing a soft reset may help...

1) gmxt in nokia 6220 classic got same problem, when in the satellite mode u try to search item or placess the conection satellite will lost, so what i do i disable internal gaps and turn back on after i found placess that i search,
2) in the gmxt mode it will turn to dark if u go to other menu example read massage, search contact, but if u enter the gmxt back, screen will ok after about 20 second, but the sattellite signal will lost, disable and on back again internal gps
3) i ecounter auto shutdown gmxt too, i format my memory card, remove several car/vehicle.... so far no shutdown....for now laa

When I first installed v5.00.10w into my WM phone as an upgrade (from v4.20.50w) I ran into problems - error message ...low resources, etc, or to that effect. I then removed GMXT and all related files from my device and did a fresh installation of v5.00.10w, including the base map and the help files. Installation was successful and so far after 2 days of use, I have no problems with v5.00.10w.

I think the base and help file are the same as before. I don't have any issue with my Dell X51V so far...
