Hi
I'm using MFM V 1.50 :x
I suppose it's a bug in Nuvi which makes MFM maps not compatible.
Maybe a road type not compatible with the new firmware.
So wait for upgrading your nuvi if not absolutely necessary.
In my case I was upgrading my City Navgator Europe on Garmin website and had no other choice.

It's just an example but it's the same all over the map

This is my 755T screenshot, mfm v1.51 map... at the same place.. Wierd, your's roads look thin. How do you create your map?

This is my steps to create map for 755T
1) Run the mfm installer
2) Select Full customization (Recommended for Mapsource Display)
3) Create/Generate gmapsupp.img with Custom POI only

Refer to the map installation screenshots.

Hi
I first created my map with Mapsource after chosing full Customization.
Then I tried from the installer and same result.
Sure they changed something in the last firmware.
No problem with the official Garmin maps
No problem with a Nuvi 255 I got for a friend with V 1.50 1.51

My nuvi 755T runs on SW v3.40. No problem.
Suggestion : How about, disable ALL maps, except MFM's. and see what happens.

No idea, .. :|

Hi

I was just trying different things.
Finally slip roads and ramps appear when I chose the Nuvi option and when I create the map with Mapsource.
The map is ugly under Mapsource but ok on the Nuvi.
The topo option is lost.
So I can say the case is solved but I've no display of the POI when navigating and
no display of the non Garmin POI (hence no gas station at all ...)
I've been trying all other options and no chance.

Whant to add something about this unit because I've been using it during 2 monthes in Europe.
The speed limit pannel which appear down in the left corner is very useful because it permanantly reminds you what is the actual speed limit you are driving on. It seems easy to implement in MFM.

The lane announcement is nice when junctions are very tricky otherwise useless most of the time. These are not pictures but a fictive background and sky, always the same (at least in Europe because so many of them).

The most usefull thing is the traffic info. In case of emergency (accident or whatever) the reactivity is around one minute along Highways (they are under video).

Yes, very useful indeed. But, how to make it appears on nuvi, still a mystery, to others but Garmin mappers. As a subtitute, MFM-speedtrap POI does comes handy, reminding any speedtraps along the roads. Other than that, do all Malaysians follow speed limits?

Lane Assist. Garmin MSM NT 2009.3 map also has this feature. Hope someone can find the way to enable this feature in MFM.

This one, maybe we can see this in next 5-10 years in Malaysia. I don't know, or, ... errr.. I do not want to say negative thing.....

Yes, custom POIs are not shown properly with 7x5T. Other than that, I am very happy. :)
