In 15 years of owning Garmin units and using all their car dash and boat mounts, this one is be worst designed one. The L shaped Mini USB jack fits so badly at the bottom of the unit that it works it's way out after a few minutes (if your unit interface is not set to Garmin Spanner, the unit will automatically switch to Mass Storage mode - the USB detection is there obviously but it no longer supplies sufficient power to be on Nav mode).
Set the interface to Garmin Spanner and at least if the dang Mini USD jack slides out, you will be prompted to enter Mass Stotage or remain at Nav mode.
The holder and sucker mount itself is great if you are solely running on batt power but for RM200 you are also paying for the dang cigarette lighter charger with the dang L shaped Mini USB jack.
An alternative would be to just but a RM15 china made car charger for any handphone which charges via mini USB and make sure it is a conventional straight jack.
