Bro JJ007,

Well done on the track-log! Don't forget to send this to Bro OngCC for him to update and furnish more details in the boon-docks! I've been waiting to do so after sending him some of my track-logs for areas off the beaten path...

And as far as accuracy of the log is concerned, hey, the fact that it had a consistent lock-on considering the kind of vegetation in the area is quite a feat in itself! Do not forget also the inherent off-set(errors) in Google's Earth's mosaic satellite imagery sets.

Hoo-AH!

it is a 8.4km walk :ko: and just downloaded the track, trying to compare how accurate it is. my rough comparison with google map at certain pt can be ~ 15-20m away !! so I am quite lost and disappointed. I am pretty sure that most of the time Oregon reported < 5m tolerence ... you can load the tracklog attached and compare using mapedit

Not sure if you guys notice anything on Oregon accuracy as indeed it is quite difficult to get a good reference pt for comparison. what your comments?

For Oregon it will not charge the battery,
The USB cable allow you to transfer to PC or Power up your Oregon without Battery.

1. Setup >System> interface > Garmin Spanner
2. When the cable plug in, it will ask you if you like to go into Mass Storage > Click NO.
