Just wondering, are the souce data in .mp format or we need to create new souce data for papago compiler? If in .mp format, then it will be much easier (relatively).

As a new owner of this unit, it does provide tracklog function and stores it as a file but I'm not too sure what software to open it as I have no experience with this.

If your tracklog is in this file PPGPOINE.DAT then try with this, http://blog.zyrax.net/mapking .If it's not working,pm me your PPGPOINE.DAT

Unfortunately, the file format of the track logs that are saved are in .bin and not as the one mentioned.

No problem Bro, use GPSbabel to covert from .bin to .gpx or .gdb :D
