Hai all,
I'm with GPS and just own my Oregon 300. So hopefully you guys can understand if I ask a silly question. I need a GPS because I'm doing Adventure Photography and I need something good in the wood. So far Oregon was good reception in the jungle. I just want to ask, how can I view my save waypoint coordinates in my Oregon?

Thanks again silverbeauty. It was useful to me as I mark the place I took the photos. Need that coordinate to put in my photos EXIF data. One more thing. I read the manual said we can view the pictures. I follow the instructions but when I view, it seems on;y showing wallpapers picture. Am I missing something here? I created another directory in the device.

you manually load pictures into your Oregon to view them either in main memory or through SD card. Read and experiment. be resourceful ....

I done that. The manual show it straight forward and I do that but seems I can view the pictures except that preloaded inside.

yup, the manual is too str8 forward, lack of information and less detail.. u cannot rely on that manual.. however, i havent tried to load pictures onto my oregon yet.

To add the coordinates into EXIF picture (geotagging) maybe u need a software to do that. u can learn how to geotag images or read some software reviews here:-

create a directory called image at the root dir, either in the internal memory, or externally at your MicroSD card of your Oregon, you should be able to browse your photos

A tri-axial compass advantage over a regular compass is that you don’t have to hold it level when navigating.
