i've try install mapsource 6156 to my pc, but error appear.. anyone pls help me..

"Previous map source not found, Setup will terminate" :-?

Extract EXE file using Winrar or Winzip, etc. First, run "MAIN.MSI", then "SETUP.EXE". That should do the trick.

And after that, you need to install at least 1 Mapsource product such as: Free Malaysia & Singapore GPS Map

Don't worry. It is alright. There is currently no map for Mapsource to open yet. Proceed to download and install MFM map.

and also the reason why i install mapsource coz i was told i need it if i want to do the following

I got this Garmin Nuvi 250W. say I go to Place A and save the co-ordinate as favorite. when I go back home, how do I retrieve the coordinate of Place A.?

I play with it and can't find a way to retrieve it. pls help, thks

Start Mapsource, connect Nuvi to PC, select Receive From Device (in Maposurce).

i ran the Mapsource Registry Script. as below

1. Download Mapsource Registry Script <-- Right-click and then select "Save link as"

but when i open, just a Note pad. did i download the correct thing?

right click on the file and select merge or install the Registry files then in install MapSource.

err, how can this be done? where to extract? jz got my garmin 2 days ago n no garmin experience at all b4 this, sorry
