as some of th ebros mentioned, the only compaint so far for Z880 is the routing preference. For Nuvi, I usually select Fastest way, in PPG X2 I can only select 'Recommended' (over shortest Distance and expressway Avoided). It seems that the 'Preference' way is still shortest Distance. as we know shortest distance is always not prefered as it will lead us to many traffic lights !
for example, from Yishun to Toa Payoh, the fastest way is to take SLE, CTE and exit Braddle Road. For PPGX2, it always recommend to exit Yio Chu Kang, if I purposely ignore and continue with CTE, it will re-route and suggest to exit AMK Ave 5, AMK Ave 1, etc .
Garmin MFM map routing do not such problem. I presume if the routing info is exactly the same as MFM version, they should provide similar results?
Is it possible to make Recommended = Fastest Route ?
(fyi. SLA map is slightly better in providing 'correct' route, but quite often it tend to recommend shortest distance too)

This is good news indeed.
Another feedback on the Junction View. The drawing is nice however, I found that the text is too small. Maybe can re-look at it and double the font size.

artful wrote:To Antyong,
Here are few comment for few day testing...for MFM Papago standard map...
Comment:
1. 3D building still won't show.
2. For JCV i can see different type MFM & Papago....great...almost better/complete than original Papago Map. (keep it up)
3. Tol booth announce sometime it will not annouce at some tol...this i will feedback at Papago topic.
4. Malaysia highway symbol compare to original Papago map, MFM is more...![]()
5. Announce of underpass, flyover, bridge and tunnel in KL; so far i think this only support Z880 not announce at Z820
6. POI search still not complete...maybe due to this version is for custom map. Whenever you search POI only show you few. eg.
- Petrol ~ only show few petrol station. More worst is KL no petrol station found.
- Parking area ~ search in KL area, For Papago map it show 20 pages, For MFM map it show 10 pages.
- Shopping POI logo still not shown at Z820 POI search.
- Schools ~ not all show logo.
7. Address search so far so good...
8. Just found out that MFM map still doesn't support East Malaysia & Brunei yet.
9. Routing test so far so good....FYI recalculating route is damn fast maybe due to the 3D building not shown. Compare papago map.
Cheers
artful

Re: MFM Papago map feedback
Can change the custom POI icons of 7-11 & 99 Speedmart to its original logo?
I notice HSBC, Maybank, Publicbank has their icon, how about eg.. Ambank, Alliance, BSN.
This has to be done in the device firmware or the map itself?

Noted your comment Bro. To have bigger font size, need to draw bigger signboard, which would compromized some important background landmarks such as buildings, bridges and landscape. After much consideration, the team decided the landmarks is more important. Nevertheless, will try our best to make the wording more visible as much as possible.

Re: MFM Papago map feedback
I am using the Papago X3 on my touch cruise 09...
Problems
i) For the MFM map, it still prompt me to register or use the trial version.
ii) No POI search and 3D building.
iii) Priority is using trunk roads as mentioned in previous posts and not expressway.
iv) JV is ok, but the font is quite small. (as all exits in Singapore have alphanumeric labels, it would good
to show it) e.g. Exit 12A etc.
So far, I am really amazed with Papago as was using it in Kuala Sepetang(fishing town with many small roads and it still can navigate as what my friend plan to use) in Perak last week.
It was very accurate and especially when there are exits it would advise 300m before to stay on the right lane.
If we can add rest area advise along NS or any other highway when we are approaching will be good.

Re: MFM Papago map feedback
My Papago Z880 works fine with mfm map.

So many JVs and 3D buildings now.
For Search function, I use the SLA map for SG.
For Navigation I always use the Mfm map
