I just tried out the 090624 version. It is much better compared to the 090616 version. Most of the time it will pick the expressway. Well done.
However in KL, it seem to have a preference of choosing ELITE highway over NSE (E2) when travelling from Singapore to Northern Malaysia. I think most people will choose NSE (E2) over ELITE, may be it is better to make this the default route.

Yes, I am facing the same problem again on this latest release. (090624)

At KL Federal Highway back to Klang, at PJ Hilton it will guide me to go up the flyover and come down connect back to federal highway. Further up it will guide me to go down to Jalan Templer and connect back to Federal Highway.

The beta release 090618 is ok, no such problem. I am sure I have selected the correct map as I delete old map only keep latest version in the device.

Bro, Try do hard reset

Tried reset, still the same. I have tried putting back beta 090618, it works fine, but whenever I use 090624, the same problem occur. viewtopic.php?p=46530#p46530 Maybe you can try yours, putting it into simulation.

Papago Z880 put into simulation mode. (even you are connected to satelite)
1. At the main menu, goto "Routing Options"
2. In "Routing Options" menu, click on "Route Plan"
3. Click on "Add", select a location to start with. eg. Amcorp Mall Petaling Jaya and click "Set Start Point"
4. Click "Add" again to select another location. eg. Jaya Jusco Klang and click "Set Destination"
5. Now at the "Route Plan" menu, you will be able see to location you have selected. Click on "Back" to bring to Main Menu
6. At the Main Menu now, click on "Routing", you will able to see the map.
7. Click on "Tool" and select "Simulation"

If you try the above location, you will be able to see the problem I am facing, it guide me to go up flyover and connect back to the same road where I could have just drive straight.

Not sure what software version your Z-880 is using...but my Holux is giving me the right routing with 090624

Delete the rest of the files in your /Save folder except the below 2 and try again.

Save:
PPGPOI17.DAT = Favorite
Recent17.DAT = History

Delete

~sys.cfg
RouteTmp17.DAT
sys.cfg

Now thats weired, yours doesn't guide you to go up the flyover (Near Hilton) and connect back to Federaly Highway?

It is fine if I am using the beta 090618 map. I am sure I am having the latest software version. 0520Z 001.0.0001.2009/04/21 ... headache

Hmmm...I wish I can use screen capture software. However, Holux GPSmile62 does not have video out.

Tech guy in Eastgear told me that the Holux and Z880 are using different firmware, and requested me to lodge the incident to Eastgear via Mypapago.com, and get them to investigate.
