Software 2.99 (beta)

Not Recommended. The ability to have multiple map files on the unit is a great new feature, but unfortunately this release suffers from a crash when the unit is powered off. This crash seems to prevent some (most?) configuration changes from being saved across reboots. Given that there might be profile file corruption involved, I recommend not upgrading to this release.

•Added ability to load maps from any img file in the Garmin directory
•Improved display of numeric degrees and mills
•Improved Wherigo stability
•Fixed elevation errors when reviewing a point other than a waypoint

New FW 3.01 Beta tested. OK.
So far good, no big problem. No more unsave profile change & crash during switch off.

Only minor problem which able to solve by our own.
Crash during plug-in USB which cause by SD card with multiple maps file.
-Remove SD card, plug-in USB (Garmin spanner mode).
If no crash, it may cause by SD card.
-Don't panic just back-up SD card data. Advice to use card reader during reformat.
-Format SD card to FAT32.
-Rename one of map file(img) to gmapsupp.img. Other file name it as you like.

Before you do it. pls make sure backup data first.

You mean this?
NOTE FOR USERS WANTING TO DOWNLOAD SOFTWARE ON ONE COMPUTER AND THEN INSTALL IT TO THEIR
DEVICE USING A DIFFERENT COMPUTER:

1) To download the region file used by WebUpdater, copy and paste this link into your browser
on computer #1:

http://www.garmin.com/software/Oregon_W ... r__310.gcd

2) Bring Oregon_WebUpdater__310.gcd to computer #2 where your device is attached.

3a) Then you can drag-and-drop Oregon_WebUpdater__310.gcd onto the WebUpdater icon on your desktop.

3b) Or you can invoke WebUpdater at the command line, passing in the region file as a parameter:

C:\>WebUpdater.exe c:\path\to\Oregon_WebUpdater__310.gcd
