but... still Acquiring Satellities

I also noticed my GPS signal level only show 1 small bar and "GPS info" mode showed me only 1-2 satellite icon on the circle.. I never able to get 5 bars

gotta wait maybe 10 min or more depending on your position & surrounding condition. try driving in the open. also, try to use AGPS so that it get the signal faster thru phone network. there is a thread for 5800 here. look for it.

Just curious - did you try it in open air, while driving or inside your house/apartment?

Have you tried enabling the AGPS in your phone like here, viewtopic.php?p=47711#p47711
AGPS helps in getting a 'lock on' faster.

Tools > Settings > System > Distance / Speed > Metric.

hi again..
im encountring lag for the map.
i dunno if it becoz of the software @ my nokia phone.
i have try MFM map v1.61 (both full & lite version) at my phone..
it seem the rate of lag is the same when i switch either 1 for both version.
n then i try to least the detail of the map but the rate is still the same(abt 20-30m lag depends on speed.)
does anybody hav the same problem?
