As I have bought my nuvi from Eastgear, I have their member's download access therefore not aware that they have actually provided free download to everybody now.

It's actually a time limited offer for MFM members, which ended on June 30th. See: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3448

I think its no real tragedy here... return to the shop and let them know what caught you unaware or off-guard by this "special opportunity & offer" and I'm sure they'll help you out with a solution.... :)

ATB...and keep smiling. :D

(01 July 2009)

The SLA-GARMIN-MFM 1.64 is ready for download. This is an UPGRADE to the existing maps we have been releasing. Kindly login to download.

Please note that the SLA-GARMIN map is the only map with official government data for Garmin devices with respect to the addresses and postal code.

Yes. If you are an MFM member and have gotten the unlock code and the download link, you can download from the same folder, just change the filename to reflect the newest version accordingly.

Your previous unlock code for SLA-MFM v1.62 will work for the new version SLA-MFM v1.64.

Most of free offer is like that, the finer prints always read "while stocks last" or something to that effect. :)
