It does not make a difference whether your card is standard SD or MicroSD as long as your GPS and PC can read it. In order that we can help you further, please tell us what is your HWID number and how you determined this number.

My HWID is 0827 and i use this step to determined the number..

. Determine what is your HWID
i. Google in the Internet for g7towin utility
ii. Download and unpack it
iii. Run and select in Configuration - USB connection.
iv. Put GPS in Diagnostic (Service) Mode (touching battery icon for 10 sec) then attach it to your PC
v. Run application command - from menu 'gps' - > get gps id

The patch for HWID= 0827 actually contains 2 patches - for writing the logs into the internal memory or the SD card. Did you choose the patch for writing to internal memory (xxxxint.rgn) or SD Card (xxxxsd.rgn)?

Check both the internal memory and the SD card for the Logs folder. If it is in the wrong place, you can either accept it without doing a re-patch or choose the correct patch and patch again.

An easy solution is for you to insert any SD card (or buy one if you don't have one), create a Garmin folder in the card and do a recording. Then you should see the Logs folder if you have chosen the SD card patch. Then no point of you to re-patch.

i will give a try..see what will happen :)

Please see my edited reply to your earlier post. I confused you with another brother having almost the same problem except he does not have an SD card. Since you do have, you have more options.

I may be wrong but I dont think using a microSD card with its adapter should an the issue. I've used these before with my digicam and Palm TX and it never caused any problem. However, if you have a proper SD card, please try it out, so that we would know of the result.

AFAIK, we don't need to change the setting to 'Off Road' since it is recorded in raw data.
