they will localized nuvi205 then it will support jv.

I don't think any flavor of 205 supports JCV. Does US or TW 205 supports JCV?

Hi drsec,
Do you think that possible you can open this thread topic on MSM forum ?
I can 100% sure that this sec you post the thread, the following sec will immediately deleted by the others.
yes, we know that presently only MSM or CNNT support this feature,
Why you don't give other members to experience on this JCV/Lane assist feature ?
I search your post, you did flash you nuvi to sing/mal version and experience on the JCV feature,
then, you think that it's not good enough, so you flash it back to US version, is it ?
you give your chance to try it, why you don't give other members chance to try so.
if they don't like this, they may change it back to origin US firmware like you.

I did felt that you're not so like people to post this topic here.
do you hear before "One man's meat is another man's poison" and
"One man's poison is another man's meat".
you don't like it, doesn't mean other members also don't like it.

Sometimes, new feature may attractive people. but their device not support. But they desired to get this feature.
So, do you suggest him to waste the money to buy expensive unit ?

Please just give some chance to members to try it whether it's good or no good.
Most of the garmin user love here mfm forum but not other forum.

I personally have some opinion like you after using the MSM NT with JCV.
that's why, I switch it to beautiful MFM map since I joined here.
Finally, I believe all our member we love mfm map.
Again, just let them to try it out.
Thanks. Appreciate your understanding.
:tq:

It is just that I feel that just because MSM does not like the discussions that may ensue, it is does not make it alright for you to discuss it here.

In respect to your question, "Do you think that possible you can open this thread topic on MSM forum ?" The answer is I dont know because I have left MSM for some time now and is now loyal to MFM. That is also one of the reasons why I left MSM.

If you want to talk about Junction view (with gentle persuasion for others to be give a chance to try MSM), discuss it elsewhere. I feel it is only appropriate and polite thing to do.

One of the main reasons why I went back to non-junction view is because I want to stick with MFM and I dont want to shift back to MSM. I will wait until MFM has junction view then I will change my unit to one that supports Junction View.

I would be so bold to say that I suspect that you are a implant of MSM to lure MFM members back to MSM.

I will leave this discussion here.

What I did wrong !!
so I think I should disappear from this forum right away, then people will no more thinking that I am a threat of mfm forum.

drsec,

Dont be a spoiltspot! Let me members decide on what is best for them...

With JCV now possible on MSM, members have a choice. Doesnt mean that we will stop visiting MFM or downloading MFM now we have found a way to enable JCV with MSM. It is not that shallow.

JunJun has given us an option, not all members will take that. Some will be delighted to have them, others will not bother....So let the members decide.

Your stinging words have suddenly put a stop to the euphoria that we are experiencing. That's NOT very healthy. :fire:

you dont like it. but many others like it. others not complain yet because they got some experience on it.

if they success with it, doesnt mean they will leave mfm?
more of thing influence why others stay in here.

So far i m a happy user using mfm over msm maps, but i appreciate both maps effort. As per JCV now is a new feature for mal/sin users, it will for sure attracting some people attention. However, it is subject to personal preference. If the members feel msm is their meat, then that is their choice, no forcing. Just like ppl joining mfm or msm forum, no forcing. Sometime, we cannot say when we have this then we cannot have that, there are some users use both.

As for me, i still like mfm map especially the colorful icon, and i believe, sooner or later, mfm will have its JCV to support Garmin unit as well. I believe that.

Why is there a need for you to initiated a forum war of MFM and MSM here?

Can we stop the Politic Shit our of this, or you have a hidden Agenda behind this?

Are you a Localise Unit Seller who’s Sales are affected badly due to this?

All the members here in MFM or MSM just want to share their knowledge, make better Maps.

You sounds more like the suspect who are out to destroy the current Harmony that MFM & MSM have now.

I would like to say MFM offer generously unconditional free weekly updated beautiful trustworthy map to members of public is really hard to find now a day in this commercialized world.
Bro JunJun is kind enough to share his knowledge here for members who can opt for some features where presently not available yet by MFM.
I believe these extra features are good to have but not the "must have" features to conclude generally for a good, reliable weekly updated map offered by MFM.
I believe also members here are mostly carried with more than one map which also made others available in case for their GPS devices.
I believe members here cannot be simply lure away simply by the reason of extra features...
Thanks.

FYI, for testing purposes  , I reflashed the Nuvi2W firmware to a Nuvi200W and Nuvi205W, and then reflashed them further with Nuvi255W Sing/Mal firmware. The results, both of them are able to display JCV.

Thanks again for sharing the info with us. :good:
