for Lorong Barat should be Lorong Timur,and
Lorong Timur should be Lorong Barat.

You've got to provide the coordinates of the location, to enable our mappers to pinpoint the place and amend or correct it.

There may be 2 or 3 Taman Zooview in Asia.

route to tropicana and from tropicana PJ changed. 2nd tunnel is now opened. both tunnels are now dualcarriageways
will track when skies are clearer. meanwhile, its 1 way street and a no right turn at intersection if coming from tropicana heading towards jln bukit mayang emas. have to u-turn further up.

Went from Singapore to Tropicana City Mall in PJ. My Garmin Mobile XT (Nokia E71) started to behave weird after entering Sungai Bersi. A few typical "misbehavior":

1. Constantly saying "recalculating" even when on straight long road.

2. Sometimes telling me to "turn right in 700m" when it is only a straight road that extends few km (sometimes it may be on a flyover with cross roads underneath)

3. Sometimes "she" says "when possible, make a u-turn".

Basically I relied on my memory to get to Tropicana City Mall. Had I followed the GPS, I would have been going round in circles.

I had the same problem getting to Sunway Mas Commercial Centre from Ken Damansara few weeks ago. Also had problem getting out from PJ to NSE. But never had problem going around JB. Going to Malacca this weekend, hopefully nothing goes wrong.

Any idea what's wrong?

hi.
i mean. when i wanna go to lanai kiara. i search it through GPS. and indeed i found the condo.
then i navigate to it.

but it lead me to the sprint highway. which is 3 story height.and the GPS deactivate itself saying i had reach the destination. and then the condo is on the ground at the left of the highway. and very near to the highway. i cannot just turn into the lanai kiara as the high way is elevated from floor. i cannot turn to the condo. entrance of condo is at floor.
so i just simply drive forward , get out from the highway. then only i navigate to the condo itself.

i will do the mapsource soon. hope it helps.

Hi, I am new at this and not sure whether I am submitting my comments in the correct manner. Do correct me if I am wrong.

I am not sure how the routing works and whether it is contributed by everyone and therefore the feedback is converted to automatic routing. Maybe you can guide me on this. It is something interesting to know.

Anyway, I have recently been trying out the Garmin Mobile XT software on my pda and have been checking whether the routing from Seri Petaling to Menara Public Bank is in order. I normally used the KL/Putrajaya highway and would normally turn left at the exit to Jalan Tun Razak. I am not sure why, the routing keeps asking me to exit right to Jalan Davis and then use the roundabout. Anyway, I just ignored it and it recalculates and then point me to the right direction towards KLCC and at the traffic lights between Jalan Ampang and Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, it guides me to Go Northwest on Jalan Saloma, Make a U-turn, Turn left on Jalan Ampang, Turn left on Jalan Jelatek, Take ramp to E12 A.K.L.E.H (Kl) on left, Exit left on ramp and then finally arrived at Menara Public Bank.

Why would the routing guide me to such a long way when Menara Public Bank is just on my right and I can turn right when I am at the traffic light between Jalan Ampang and Jalan Yap Kwan Seng? Or I could turn right into Selangor Dredging and move on to Menara PBB which would then be on my left.

Appreciate your response on this.

for your feedback.

Its quite difficult to visualize on the route you have commented.

Please install mapsource and plot the route there. See whether the routes are the same compare to the route as in MobileXT.

If it is the exact route, please save the file and upload the GDB file here. We will touble-shoot from there.
