Enabling Nuvi 205W for JCV & Lane Assist

i just flash my nuvi 260w and enjoyed the JCV...also did on the 205w...and working great

I guess your 260W HWID is 0827 ? mine is 0835 and it doesn't work. load until the last 3 sec and aborted " firmware missing" I have to reflash back 260W firmware for the unit to be back to work again ...

my nuvi now is 205W v 2.60 (previously 205W v 5.00). is it suppose to be 205W or 255W to view the JCV?

i manage to view the intersection list (i think, with the gray icon at the lower right screen) but still no JCV and i'm waiting it to appear.

I believe for Nuvi205W, the steps should be Nuvi205W > Nuvi2W > Nuvi255W Sing/Mal. At least that's how I did with a couple of Nuvi205Ws and both managed to display JCV.

Try renaming RGN to 093000010280.rgn (a tip I've got from Bro Othroz).

Correct, the same method you did before flashing to Nuvi2W.

after followed the blogspot precedure, my nuvi still nuvi 2W with SgMy version 2.6 but not 255W. correct ar? by the way the JCV still cannot on, but i only manage to see the 3 list intersection at the right pane
