1) If Taiwan205W convert into 255W SG/MY, will it still able to write in Chinese Character?
2) The Taiwan205W originally NO Offset with China Map, Would it Still Remain this feature after converted to 255w SG/MY?

The reflashed Nuvi will be similar to any original Sing/Mal Nuvi in terms of features, so if Sing/Mal firmware does not support Chinese character input and corrected off-set for China map, so reflashed Nuvi using this firmware will not have them as well.

Not done,everythings clear up the nuvi 200W,also flashing by 2W>, error message malfunction occur.
that mean my nuvi200W cant flash to 205w.
Any clue help? dvpro.

Hi Aiklee, do you need help to revert to Nuvi200W or to force-flash Nuvi200W to Nuvi205W? When you flashed to Nuvi205W, which GUPDATE.GCD did you create RGN from?

work on my brother's nuvi 205w us.
JCV work like charm.
Definitely firmware v2.30 not working as latest msm jvc is encrypted.
mine v2.70 JCV work like a charm.
btw, my brother scold me about MSM NT really Outdate.
he prefer MFM detail map rather than MSM with laosy JcV.

I'm a newbie and having a 205W from US and follow the http://nuvi255wfirmware.blogspot.com/20 ... ee-jv.html to convert my 205W to enable Junction View.

But, my unit is having problem now as i missed out the step to downgrade to firmware version 2W before to SG.MY version v2.30.

My unit now having problem to load map after power on as it just keep rebooting.

May i know what could i do to re flash the firmware back to orignal US V5.30 or V2.80 ? I dont have the rgn file. where could i get those?

Appreciate your help on this. Many thanks in advance.
