Just wonder if the junction view can make use of the street view work that is being done by Google?

In my drive to KL, I feel that junction view is really useful when there are like 3 - 4 exit and sometimes, 2 exit goes to the same expressway but different direction, and I end up having to try my luck sometimes. Even my KL friends using the gps also not sure which lane to take sometimes as well.

1. How detail? Quality or quantity?
Junction view can be very detail
or
very simple

Obviously we need to spend a lot of time and need talented artists to create detail junction views. Or we can spend relatively little time preparing generic junction views

* depend the road , if the road same like sungai wang , i think should more detail other then that can simple

2. Data acquisition method
We do not have cars fitted with video cameras and paid drivers driving around a city to capture pictures of junctions. Taking pictures while driving can be dangerous. Will our members endanger their own lives and lives of others if they help us take pictures of junctions? Is there another way? Ideas?

* I have DSLR camera , i think should be enought to capture more clear photo

3. In-house or outsource?

So far, all of MFM's content is produced by our own members with some based on public domain data. There are other parties that are interested to work together with us. These parties may have the resources that we don't. So do we create junction view ourselves or work with another party?

* I think is member to it self , cos the map is do the slef then can be more detail and is our hoppy

That is an incorrect statement. [-X Nobody forces you to use MSM. There are "CHOICES" available ...

To get JCV for Sin-Mal, you can use Garmin NT Sin-Mal map or MSM.

Other countries map also have JCV ....

It is Garmin who determines what can be used in what models as the features are firmware dependent.

I'm not forced to use MSM just to have JCV

What you are doing is gain one, lose three...

Similarly that is also what Garmin's strategy gets, IMO
