Hi gpsnerd, it's possible only while browsing the map, select the location you need to route to, then select Info icon (top right). Then select the location (among the list, if any), and select Go!.

why my N5800 use GMXT 5.00.60 can't detech my GPS?????

Have you set properly your 5800 to detect internal GPS under here - tools - settings - system - Remote GPS - Disable, Was it set to Use Attached/Build-in GPS? if no Enable it.

If still cannot - You must purchase the original Garmin from Garmin website to make it work again.

it only show " Pair New GPS " is use bluetooth... can't see Attached/Build-in GPS....

i use on my N6210 Navigator no problem.... so y on this N5800 have the problem..
how to register it??

try putting ur 6210 sd card into ur 5800 and see if it can detect internal gps..

harlo sifu..

i m new to 5800.. my wife just bought one unit with map loaded.
Is there any discussion thread about how to update the map on 5800?

i have the Nuvi but i'm not too sure if the method is the same. I also want to load in the custom POI if it can load in.
