Hi, I also new here. I've a GPS that comes with proton persona, myNavi. From this reply, only reliase that it is a product of Lakatoo, hehe..

I feel that this Lakatoo GPS is not as good as Garmin ( I m using Garmin with my xpress 5800).
I think to update it to Garmin.

Anson, is your GPS originally came with Garmin or you manually update it? Can you provide me the steps?
Which version of Garmin that can I install it?

FYI, I DIY installed garmin into my xpress 5800 with a guidance posted in a forum.
I wish to get 1 for my myNavi. TQ

Hey,
im new here.

Just purchased a Nuvi off the Middle east market and it was preloaded with Euro map. Was searching around for a free, legal map of Malaysia and found Malsingmaps, loaded that map into my GPS.

My friend told me that this source (MFM) was better so i joined here and scrubbed off MSM maps from my GPS.

And i look forward to contribute as much as i can to this community.

Have been using the maps for a few weeks after getting my first GPS. Thought that I should at least register and thank everyone for their hard work. Most willing to contribute.

Keep it up ...Guys
