I have had some success using 2 freeware software to do 1-second logging intervals, and converting to a MapSource-readable file. One of them is cotoGPS. Previously I've only used it to save Markers aka POIs. Now, I should be able to contribute tracks, and not limited to only POIs

How to do 1 second track log on the Palm TX, and display them in Mapsource.
ONE [On the Palm TX]
Run cotoGPS (ver 1.6.0)
Menu >> Page >> Track:
Choose Save "Every Second", Tick Beep (if preferred)
Choose 'Tracks' button >> New (Create/Rename to 'Test' (or whatever)) >> Use
Click 'Start' to start logging points for the track, and 'Stop' to end.
You can view your tracks if you choose 'Draw'
Exit application by going to Menu >> Exit
TWO
Hotsync the Palm to the PC
THREE [On the PC]
Run GPSBableGUI (Windows front-end ver 0.2.15.0)
(1) For Input Format, choose 'cotoGPS for Palm/OS'
(2) Search and choose your saved file 'Test.pdb'
(3) For Output Format, choose 'Garmin MapSource - gdb'
(4) Give a name to your output file [eg TestGMS]
(5) At "What ?", Tick 'Tracks'
(6) Press 'let's go' button to convert the file
** if Successful, a pop-up window with 'Converted successfully from "coto" to "gdb" will appear. Press the 'OK' button.
FOUR
Run Mapsource (ver 6.13.7)
Menu >> File >> Open:
Locate and open 'TestGMS.pdb'
Walla....
