anyone used apple mac os? just wondering whether it can be used to generate the .img file from the weekly map update?

However, MFM installer is not executable in a Mac OS. Read this topic for using MFM in a Mac: MACINTOSH version of Mapsource

This should be interesting as Garmin missed the boat and Apple is proving an attractive platform. I wonder when the Mapsource OS X would materialize.
