When I first got my BMW navigation plus,I was not too sure whether I made a right decision to pay such a good sum of money for a GPS device.Reason being I found the map that came with it was crappy, almost I came to a point of regret.Immediately I called up BMW and they assured me I can installed other map.I went to Garmin shop and the garmin girl recommended and installed for me Malfreemaps.I have been full of praises for my GPS device eversince and felt it is worth all the cents that I had paid for it.Thank you to all that have made all this possible,I wish I can contribute somehow to this wonderful community..

Instead of giving appreciation to the mapping effort, let me say something different.

I frequently visit local motoring websites. While the sites are informative and up-to-date, with latest scoops and tips, the forum atmosphere there is in direct contrast with the one we have here. Forumers there are criticizing, complaining and venting their angers and frustrations. Some flame each other, calling others by vulgar names, A few even go as low as saying we are a bunch of total idiots; not capable of doing anything worthwhile. (Perodua MPV is launching this 23 November – you can expect another round of intense fighting these coming weeks there).

Visits to another local sites (dealing with electronic gadgets) present you with full of mindless chatters, off-color jokes, unsubstantiated rumors and spamming. Even local online news and political websites do not fare better. The reader comments area are riddled with complains and highlights of government incompetence. Without realizing it, it slowly starts to ingrain into me that we indeed are what we say we are.

Joining this site is a breath of fresh air. Really, I am not exaggerating. I was awestruck by the camaraderie feeling when I first saw people addressing others by ‘bro’ and ‘sis’. You will never see this in those motoring sites. Here we help one another, total strangers, without expecting anything in returns. I first thought there must be some catch somewhere. Fortunately they aren’t. What a relief!

Thanks MFM. You guys let me have faith in ourselves again.
