if we want to search for house number, we need to download the poi as well? i thought is preloaded into the map

For area with house numbers you need to enter the House Number in Address Search to locate the house location. For area without House numbers it will only show you the start or end of that road (even you have entered the house number).

Note:- house numbers are approximated points only.. unless someone actually stop at each location to tag it...

We can only have house numbers where contributors have provided the mapper with information.

Please post here if you have any house number info.
