Some suggestions, if useful

on every section,(may be a MUST READ BEFORE YOU POST QUERIES)
1) a FAQs , which contains questions that has been posted >~3 times
== to reduce duplicates/fatigue
2) advices on search before ask, promote meaningful title and details etc...
== to tidy up the forum, else always see seniors clueless to help
3) Format/requirements in the section
== some guidelines for newbies , e.g. no cracked s/w discussions etc

(Another of my wish list, for Food POI, is it possible to have ratings e.g. a * to ***** following the name ,so to find 3 star food I just search ***, the ratings can be from members or from mass media)

my 0.007 cents

Organize more GG!
I missed a lot of GG...

organize ' Tracking Day' on selected area. Track in highly details, start from 9am to 5pm, then teh tarik session to combine all tracks.

Sounds good? I believe no one will agree...

Sifu...

From my experience while using this forum, each time I click at any link (not in this forum) it will not open it in the new windows/tab. Can this setting change to make it open new windows/tab?

Good idea. But to go tracking from 9am to 5pm will definitely requires lots of petrol on my 2.0 engine :frus: Let's wait till the petrol price goes down further :$$:

How come the search engine no longer works? Sifu forgot to activate eh?

Alamak. Let's get organised. I'm covering Bkt Kerayong to Meru this week. Brahym is coming down to Kapar from Jeram.

All the above suggestions are all good. However in my opinion we must educate our new comrades on the setting up for individual units for Nuvi's,60csx etc(very important during tracking and plotting of waypoints)Like what we are doing now..contributing the above in gdb and gpx file is good as we are making our hard working mappers very much easier to drawup the maps for our benefits
Prescision/accuracy when positioning our Poi's in my opinion is vital for every trackers here.Eventhough we all may go helter skelters in gathering those tiny bread crumbs..we must not forget the prescision of it too.As I encountered the last map version.Where the Poi of school which is in the map does not actually exist in the location.Just thick jungle.
Im very certained and sure that upon educating our new comrades we shall have the best maps ever been produced! That's my personal desire/dream here.Thank you.
